Applications Open for Y Combinator Fall 2026 Startup Accelerator

Applications are now open for the Fall 2026 batch of Y Combinator (YC), one of the world’s most recognised startup accelerator programmes.
The programme, scheduled to run from October to December 2026 in San Francisco, offers early-stage startups access to funding, mentorship, investor networks, and a community of founders from around the world.
Selected startups will receive seed funding, intensive guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and YC partners, weekly founder sessions, and opportunities to connect with investors ahead of Demo Day.
Since its launch in 2005, Y Combinator has helped build some of the world’s most successful technology companies, including Airbnb, Stripe, DoorDash, and OpenAI.
The accelerator is open to startups across a wide range of industries and stages of development. Organisers encourage founders with innovative solutions and strong growth potential to apply.
The Fall 2026 application deadline is July 27, with successful applicants expected to receive feedback by late August.
For African startups, participation in programmes such as Y Combinator can provide valuable international exposure, funding opportunities, mentorship, and access to global markets.
