Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Limited has reported a remarkable 256% increase in net profit for the 2025 financial year, highlighting a period of strong growth and increased impact on Ghana’s economy.

The company posted a net profit of GH¢66.9 million, up significantly from GH¢18.7 million recorded in 2024. The performance reflects growing customer confidence, strong operational execution, and continued support for businesses across the country. During the year, Advans Ghana disbursed more than GH¢900 million in loans to businesses of varying sizes, helping to stimulate economic activity and support enterprise growth.

Its gross loan portfolio expanded from GH¢390 million to GH¢580 million, while customer deposits increased by 56% to reach GH¢430 million. The institution’s active customer base also grew to 149,000.

Managing Director Guillaume Valence attributed the results to customer trust and the dedication of the company’s workforce.

“Behind these results are real stories: clients who trust us to grow their businesses and committed teams who deliver every day. Purpose, vision, and disciplined execution are what drive our growth,” he said.

Women continued to play a central role in the institution’s growth strategy. Female customers increased to 86,000, while loans granted through the AdvansHER programme rose by 52%. The average loan size for women also increased by 17%, reflecting the growth of women-led enterprises.

Beyond lending, the company provided business training to more than 30,000 women farmers and invested GH¢10.2 million in agricultural value chains including rice and shea production.

Advans Ghana also accelerated its digital transformation efforts, recording a 48% increase in digital transactions through its USSD platform and mobile application. The institution further strengthened its reputation by securing the Client Protection Certification at Silver Level and obtaining ISO 27001 certification for information security management.

Looking ahead, the company says its 2026 strategy, themed “Raising the Standard,” will focus on expanding operations, improving customer experience, investing in staff development, and increasing efficiency.
