15 African AI Startups Graduate from Google for Startups Accelerator

Fifteen African artificial intelligence startups have completed the latest Google for Startups Accelerator: Africa programme, receiving mentorship, technical support and cloud resources to help scale their businesses across the continent.
The selected startups came from several African countries and operate in sectors such as health technology, financial services, agriculture, education, logistics and enterprise software. During the programme, founders received guidance from Google engineers, product specialists and industry experts on areas including machine learning, product development, growth strategy and fundraising.
Google said the accelerator is designed to help promising African startups build sustainable businesses and expand their impact through technology. The company also highlighted the growing role of AI in addressing local challenges and creating new economic opportunities across Africa.
The graduating cohort joins a growing network of African startups that have previously participated in the programme and gone on to raise investment, create jobs and expand into new markets.
